The Pub Crestview Hills

On December 31, 2023, my girlfriend and I celebrated New Year's Eve at The Pub, a restaurant known for its British pub atmosphere and menu. We have enjoyed a delightful tradition here for several years, which includes singing a spirited rendition of "God Save the Queen" (or "God Save the King," as it is now) along with a shot of Guinness at 7 PM to coincide with midnight in London. This year, however, was quite different. To our surprise, there was no chorus of "God Save the King," and instead of Guinness, we were offered a shot of champagne. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience overall. The service was excellent, and we all had a wonderful time. My shepherd's pie was delicious, and while my friend's steak looked perfectly cooked, it may have been a tad dry. We were part of a large group, and I thought the restaurant handled it very well. We started with pretzels and loaded potatoes as appetizers, and everything was spot on—just really solid all around.
