The Publican House

It’s always a delight to visit this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially towards those with invisible challenges. I tried the spaghetti bolognese, which is a new addition to the menu, and it was fantastic! Our oldest enjoyed the fish and chips, while the burgers didn’t last long either. The beer was excellent, as always! We all left feeling satisfied and happy. Thank you once again, Publican House!

I love Publican; it’s our favorite restaurant and we dine here all the time. However, during our last visit, a family with small children was seated next to us, and it got quite loud. The kids were noisy and moving around a lot, which made it hard to enjoy our meal. It was a bit frustrating, but that’s just the luck of the draw with seating arrangements.

Love the atmosphere, heritage feel to the place. Inside and out a nice place to be. Food is good, so is the beer and options. Was a little let down on the pizza as I was told it was something special of sorts, but will be back and excited to try something else!

we had a nice dinner. not super atmospheric. my only criticism is that lighting is too bright for a pub. otherwise was good.
