We used to frequent this restaurant regularly, now known as Carriages. However, on our last two visits, we were quite disappointed. During dinner, one of us ordered a pasta dish and requested parmesan cheese. The waiter said he would bring it, but after waiting 10 minutes, it still had not arrived. We asked again after 5 minutes, and the waitress informed us that they did not have any when we were paying the bill. It was quite disappointing as one would expect a restaurant serving pasta to have parmesan cheese available. I was in a group of 6, accompanied by our 7 dogs. Usually, when we have been here before it is in the summer months and we sit outside. However it was lunchtime, on a cold Sunday in January, so we sat inside for the first time. The staff could not have been any friendlier or anymore accomodating. The food was excellent and they even catered for one of the dogs. So, 5 stars for the staff and the food. The only thing letting the place down was the decor. In need of some tlc. However, I thoroughly recommend the Pullman, particularly if you're accompanied by your dog, or a pak such as ours.

excellent food and good choice of drinks. service also very friendly and efficient. it needs a good rejuvenation physically that was told to me, but probably not until the next year. just reason why it was lost a star was because of the look, but look forward to when it upgrade is completed and expect the pullman to eat and drink a great place.

my father when it comes to the trip. an honest pub with a good selection and a solid menu. the personal was always friendly. the only pub in a very large village, but friendly all the same. a good place to relax in this great bad world!
Staff are very friendly, food was delicious and all came out at the same time. Great prices for the big portion size you get. Favourite pub to get something to eat.
Some of the best and craziest nights happen here. Come with a full wallet and brass balls. Would be five stars but lads where's the pool tables at
