The Pumping Station

Liz, sarah and all the staff at the pumping station have been amazing in the past 12 months. Liz and Sarah have patiently answered all our questions and held our hand through the planning process. We were given free rein to make the day ours and let our creativity run wild. We will be back for all the yummy food from Michael and for a nice big glass of gin. Liz and Simon did such an amazing helping with our wedding I can't believe just how great it turned out. They are both wonderful at knowing what you want even when you can't quite put it into words yourself : Down to the little tiny last minute details they had us covered. Thank you so very much you two! I would highly recommend the pumping station as the venue for your next celebration!

I finally have to eat here, because I usually work on a Sunday, wow! that was amazing. many choices of veg and the meat were cooked to perfection (I tried them all: it is worth a try. please add to tripadvisor so that the word can be spread. eating, the selection of gins (100 of them and the whole ambiente is great. x

An amazing place for a wedding. Liz worked hard to ensure the Bride, Groom and guests all had the best experience possible. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious. Everyone was able to enjoy the outside space, bar and party. Fantastic. Thank you Liz.

An excellent venue with very friendly staff. The surroundings are fantastic with an excellent outside area if the weather is fine. The decor inside suits the history of the building. I would highly recommend.

My first visit to the pumping station I was there for a wedding what a beautiful place for the whole family great food great staff I need to find out the history of the building now

Would have given a 5* But there was no lighting on path on a very wet /muddy night. It was a bit hazardous. There was notice of this on the day of event so couldn't be helped .

Beautifully and lovingly restored, tranquil and to top it off amazing Gin's! Highly recommend a visit after a lovely walk around Bradgate Park.
