The Queen Victoria

We see the Pub on the news as we were staying in 'Cheddar ' for the weekend we thought we would check the place out...... We had food drinks on a Saturday afternoon here! The food was very nice pipping hot!! But what struck me by the place was how friendly the landlord his staff were.... Also we got chatting to all the regulars which were exceptionally friendly also.... All in all, a friendly atmosphere all round!! And the icing on the cake was....... Our beloved 'Fur-baby ' could join us also!

yesterday evening in the queen vic (servicesag). had a great meal of home cooked faggots. mash and peas who was excellent. the coworkers and renters were very warm and welcoming along with the wonderful old world feeling of this mandip gem......Everything in all I recommend the queen victoria to all who want a meal or to those who want a warm friendly place for a drink. scham there are no more stars to add the review and this comes from a renter and renter of a pub in wales (.y)

fantastic place, great eating had no bad meal yet and we had many here now! wonderful friendly staff, how to boot the renter, they love this place for a long time have done and now it is on our door, since moving to somerset we can visit more great place to sit and relax

this is a beautiful rustic pub lasting the character excellent cuisine very friendly helpful staff dog friendly we visit here always when we stay cheddar in our c’van, have never been disappointed about our visit Reserva una mesa ahora

this picturesque way out of the pub is worth a visit. the pub is usually busy with walkers and dogs, so maybe worth a book. the menu is extensive and well presented and delicious. friendly staff and atmosphere

So warm welcoming .... an outstanding country pub in a beautiful place .... fantastic beers food service ....loved the Christmas transformation into the gingerbread inn wine bottle Christmas tree. .... awesome

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. A quintessential country pub that you wouldn’t look twice at if you drove past but is a hidden gem once inside. Worth the extra effort to get there.
