The Queens Head

We first visited the Queen's Head 12 months ago by chance on the journey home from a stay in Wales. We were so impressed by the food and staff that we planned a return visit this year. We were not disappointed! The food was outstanding, and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Definitely planning to visit again on our next visit to the area. There were 7 adults and a dog in our party.

A lovely country pub with a mixture of locals and tourists. There is a big free car park for those driving. 10 minute walk from Dinerth camp site. Staff are friendly, the drinks are good and they have a great wine selection. Didn't have time to eat here but food looked and smelled fantastic.

Fantastic menu with high quality fare. Price is a bit dear for food and you'll have to call ahead for a reservation. Bar is very good, as well and the prices are better. Scotch drinkers will be happy to know that the selection here is surprisingly good for a place not billed as a whisky bar.

We are vegan and veggie, able to get a really nice meal. But it would be good if the menu could include more for us. Far better than under the previous ownership! The staff are lovely, we had a very enjoyable time.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such an amazing menu in such a relatively out of the way restaurant. The food was both different and delicious
