The Railway Ember Inn

I 'm a regular in this establishment and must say the pub 's been very unstable for a few months now, mainly due to a lack of staff, and a permanent manager. The food 's been hit and miss also, but my faith was restored tonight when I endulged in the ' Ultimate Burger ' on the menu, as well as being very large, good job I was hungry, it was extremely tasty . Just a shame they served up the wrong burger first and I had to wait a further 15mins for the correct one! Hence the 4 stars instead of 5 .

on a Sunday break, and the friendly team was attentive and professional. there was a nice atmosphere with good background music that was not too loud, and a nabenbub of all different groups of family and friends, some eating, some drinking. the food came fast, beautifully presented and tasty. I love a traditional pub and I'm sure I stopped in this one as a nice start in my Sunday.

always one of my favorite pubs in the opposite through all his rejuvenations since I was 18. only a more comfortable pub, good prices, nice selection to be and eating is also quite good. they still travel from the other side of london for a few pints here occasionally.

perfect place to have some pints during the world cup and a dinner after playing. really nice staff with an experienced manager. If you had too much, you can also get a bed up.

Roast beef dinner delivered and it was absolutely Delicious!!.. Couldn’t fault it. I highly recommend
