I received a confirmation in my email about my reservation, and by the time I went to the pub, I discovered that my name wasn't in the list? how ? I showed the email confirmation to the men who was controling the list, and simple as that, they do nothing to help !!!! Me and my family discovered that on the mother's day 19/03/2023 we won't have a lunch because our name wasnt on the list.So I wasnt able to go anywhere else , of course, no available tables regarding mothers day, and guess what? I visited this pub for the first time and it quickly became a memorable experience. Initially we stopped by before heading to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of the pub was delightful. I particularly enjoyed the charming decor in the rooms. What stood out to me was when we returned a couple of hours later, the young man who had served us earlier remembered our previous order and offered it to us again. Although we declined, the exceptional level of service was truly rare and impressive. Booked a table for family lunch. Was offered table on arriving but wasn’t enough room so had to move. Initial greeting was dismissive. Service was slow. Ordered junior roast and adult roast. No difference in portion size and had two beef only one slice given they then gave more and was lots of gristle. The parsnips weren’t cooked properly not edible and roast spuds burnt. My son has fish and chips. Mostly dry batter and little fish. Chips were okay and calamari was nice. We were served roasts in a bowl whilst all the table of white people next to us had plates and bigger portion size. They were also served much quicker than us and we ordered nearly at same time. Visited here for Sunday lunch with 2 friends. We all chose different meat for our meal, chicken, lamb and beef and there was also a vegetarian option. It was probably the best Sunday dinner I've ever had! Good size portions, lots of veg, including red cabbage, crispy potatoes and the best parsnips I've ever tasted. The pub had a good atmosphere, families, people watching the football, a nice large pub to accommodate all. We sat in the garden which had about 12 tables, including a sheltered area. A good selection of beers and wine and they had non-alcoholic beer as well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be returning soon.

at points we got excited thanks to two boys at the back, who thankfully carried the dry crowd otherwise known as “the library” to half time. However the bouncer let power take hold and at 81 minutes he decided they had to go and kicked them out despite MANY cries over the fence. It tarnished the night and thank god england won, i won’t be watching the final there god forbid i enjoy myself. Bouncer victimising innocent party starters , what a shame.
Recently, my wife, a friend, and I visited the Railway Tavern for a drink. It was a busy night in the pub due to the live music, but we were impressed by the wide selection of drinks and the efficient service. I used to frequent this pub regularly when I lived in Bromley, and I'm pleased to see that the standards and popularity have remained high. Definitely worth a visit.
This charming pub has friendly staff and a fantastic beer garden. It may be located on the outskirts of the main center, but it shouldn't be overlooked! The food is delicious, the drink selection is great, they host quiz nights, and the pub is clean and well-maintained.
Came for sunday lunch with 8 of us and the whole experience was great . Lovely place , with good staff and service and the food was good. Hope to be back. Thankyou

We visited this pub on Sunday. Ordered the vegetarian Sunday lunch, it was piping hot and the most delicious vegetarian Sunday lunch I have eaten in a pub ever!
