fantastic freindly pub. staff are helpful and friendly. The service is very good and everyone made welcome. There is a large selection of ales and prices are very reasoanble. There is a large searung area outside which is heated in the winter. Food is not available but you are welcome to bring your own. I would definatly recomend to all. Cracking pub in fact one of the very few real pubs left, hence why I make the 11 mile trip there regularly week after well after week. Why are there so many pubs that are eating houses now! The red lion is my place away from home. Not for every one granted but then not every one wants what a pub should be. Highly recommended always a decent drink A+ 11 out of 10 thumbs up

This friendly pub has fantastic beer, and I really enjoy participating in the quiz on Wednesdays and dancing at the discos on Fridays. The DJ plays a variety of music and takes requests all night, creating a great atmosphere. They also have a lovely beer garden for enjoying warm summer evenings. This will definitely be my go-to local spot from now on.

a beautiful local friendly pub and good atmosphere! nice to have a garden to sit while relaxing with a beer or a glass of wine. it also has a covered seating area.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The DJ was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the bar staff were quick and friendly.

Came here for Skawaddy on May Bank Holiday will be there again this Sunday for a repeat! Excellent cask ale well kept and crisp
