What a lovely looking pub. But don't judge a book by its cover. First impression was why is it so cold in here, people sitting eating their main courses with their coats still on! Then we come to the allergy menu, had to do it on a tablet. After figuring out which of the umpteenth menus was the right one and selecting gluten allergy, Coeliac disease, we found that the only non meat option was gluten free fish and chips or sea bass. Excited about the fish and chips we were then informed that it was not in fact gluten free as was cooked in a cross contaminated fryer! Why bother to have gluten free batter and then trash it in a cross contaminated fryer. So sea bass it was. Food was okay and hot...

Very poor service. Chips, fried eggs with gammon greasy and cold. Despite asking staff specifically if my voucher for £10 off when you spend £30 was available on the lunch menu the voucher was rejected at the till. I paid the. £38.30 and left. I have complained using their system and got a standard reply. NOT going there or to any other Vintage Inn again. Now busy telling my friends so they don't get caught out. Parking: Disabled parking bays look like they have been put in as an after thought.

Fabulous meals all 4 of us friendly staff a good night but I could not locate the email with the code for the discount off the mains the 40% so we had to pay the full price the wi fi was very slow then on the way home the discount code came through but too late so hope to have better luck next time Parking: Remember to put your registration into the machine Kid-friendliness: Crayons ans paper supplied to entertain the little ones Wheelchair accessibility: Yes ramps available

Just home from mother in laws birthday! Served by Ellie, such a fantastic attentive and courteous girl! She made the night what it was! Please make sure she gets recognition for her outstanding service! We would highly recommend this place.
