I actually attended on the Friday for evening dinner. We were suppose to have gone again on the Sunday afternoon. But decided to give it a miss. I was not as impressed as I once was with this place. I have been here a few times and have enjoyed. But this time I did not enjoy the meal. Some of it was cold. I ordered Irish coffee. They got sent back times. First ones never looked right. Second one very cold. Third time was fine. Even the cheese board was very minimal.
The service and food were great,would highly recommend. The only downside was the food was a little slow to arrive, however given the current circumstances refinery staff did an excellent job. Wouldn't hesitate to come here for a meal again!
Overall a good place to eat. Large restaurant with good food and menu. Staff are friendly and look after you very well. Pricing is okay not cheap but middle of the road for a good restaurant.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was great and the cocktails were some of the best we've had.
The Refinery is a great winter restaurant for Manchester with its cosy fur throws and hot water bottles.
