We had dinner at The Refinery last night and we will not be returning. My mother-in-law owns her own restaurant and my husband is the executive chef. She ordered the salmon and when it was brought to the table, it had a strong fishy smell (which salmon should not have). After taking a few bites, she immediately noticed that something was off with the salmon. My husband also agreed that it seemed spoiled and advised her not to eat it. We informed the server and explained the issue, but were disappointed with the overall experience.
First time at the refinery, and let?s just say I wish I had been sooner! Great atmosphere with friendly staff and awesome food. Chairs were very comfortable as well. My first visit here so I chose the smoked meat combination platter which included: pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken ribs. The meat literally fell off the ribs and was delicious. The pulled pork was heaven. The brisket had an intense smoke flavor deep line of smoke, it melted in my mouth. The chicken was on the dryer side so I added more sauce. The sauce is perfect IMO... not too sweet not hot. There are ways to spice it up here but I prefer to taste the
This is our third year visiting the Refinery for dinner on vacation, and we have never been disappointed! Every menu item is amazing, the smoked brisket exceeds our home smoker’s expectations, and every staff member is ON IT! Wow do they hustle, and are so pleasant. Chef makes table side visits and gives tips on other excellent local establishments (like a local donut shop). Will continue to visit every time we are in the area!

On Friday night, our large group had Tess as our server who handled everything professionally. I ordered the brisket plate and my wife got the mac and cheese with pulled pork. I tried some of her pork and both dishes were delicious. We plan on coming back to this restaurant since we are locals. They have a great beer selection, including big brand names and a few local options.
My very good friend and I have a monthly lunch together to catch up. We take turns choosing restaurants. This month she chose The Refinery restaurant. I had never been before, but I certainly will return. The atmosphere is family friendly. The food was very good. The service was great. I recommend others check it out, if you haven't already.
Our daughter and her boyfriend recommended this restaurant to us as one of their favorite places to eat in the neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed fried cheese curds, a hot brisket sandwich, and combo plates. The BBQ was some of the best we've had in a while, very tasty!
OMG!! Cannot say enough about this place. We drive 2 hours at least once a month to come here, best BBQ I've had!! Get the Brisket sandwich, always tender and packed high and always consistent. The Carolina Nachos are hands down the best thing since sliced bread

Large, bustling bbq restaurant with many menu choices. Great service, reasonable prices and a large parking lot. Food was excellent and portions were large. Highly recommend.
The Best Brisket sandwich around. This is why I drive two and a half hours to get to the Refinery Restaurant in Andover NH.
