Even though there was no mention of Cheese being on them on the menu, there was also no mention of cheese in the Cajun chicken Ciabatta, the waitress then came over to ask which cheese sauce I wanted, I said no sauce at all. Popped in for lunch during a Christmas shopping stint in Bromley Firstly I was surprised to find no ribs on the menu. I understand it’s lunchtime and the full menu is swapped for a more basic menu, however ‘ Rib Shack’ with no ribs! The menu consists of chicken wings, filets or burger. Very limited considering it’s all frozen food. I ordered some chicken wings and a coffee. I was informed no coffee, only soft drinks or beer. I decided to go for the 440ml of lager. We were a fairly large family group including great grandchildren. The occasion was a birthday celebration for my husband. We had been several times before and always found the owner and his staff to be very friendly and welcoming. There was a good choice of starters, mains and desserts on the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. All the food was perfectly cooked, tasty and well presented. From start to finish the service we received from the owner and his staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. After waiting an hour and 50 minutes, yes almost two hours, for our main course last night for a family birthday meal, and 3 being not very nice at all, we won’t be going back. We watched the takeaway orders go out one after the other, and our meal was not forthcoming as there were ten of us apparently! The waitress staff were very nice, but the chefs need to take a good look at their service. My sister didn’t have a starter and so having arrived at 6.30, her meal came at 8.20pm, and the slimy jerk chicken and the rice were inedible. Such a shame as we try our hardest to eat local, and ended up taking the birthday cake home in its box uncelebrated. Truly disappointing!

My Daughter booked a table for 15 for my birthday, 11 Adults and 4 Children, on a Saturday night and the place was busy. We had an amazing time, the service was very good. We have been here for several birthday meals and the food has always been first class and we have some real fussy eaters in the family. When paying the bill, the staff were apologising for issues that we were not even aware of, I didn't even realise they had been short staffed and having to deal with under the influence walk ins, as the service was so good. Well done to all the Staff, you gave fantastic service and amazing food. We will be back soon.
We have been going to the rib shack for many years, but something has changed. Has it come under new management? We decided to celebrate my son's birthday there, but the food was shockingly poor. The portions were small, the food seemed to be straight from the freezer, and it was very pricey. We didn't want to ruin my son's birthday by complaining, but we will not be back. My chicken escalope tasted like cardboard.
I had dined at this restaurant before and the menu was excellent, with amazing food. Unfortunately, on this visit, the menu was very disappointing and the food was awful. The squid was tough like rubber, and the rest of the dishes were not enjoyable. After the appetizer, I was ready to leave. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and a complete waste of money.
My Wife and I had an evening out with my Brother in law and sister in law and went to The Rib Shack in Petts Wood as it had been recommended previously I have to say we certainly were not disappointed, wonderful food, friendly and obliging staff, not bad prices either, we will certainly be back one day, Happy Customer Kevin

Vile burger. 100% was a quarter pounder from iceland. Me and my husband left it all. Would never go back. Last visited 6 years ago and it was lovely. Young kids serving, music pumping. I complained to the manager who told me to try again another time as maybe a faulty batch!!!! Says it all!
