Solid SE1 pub, hard to go wrong with the RB. The young professionals' dream local boozer: film nights, board games, quiz, decent Sunday lunch etc. As a one off drink in the Borough/Elephant (or even L Bridge) area, well worth a visit. Good pints, not OTT expensive. Busy on a Friday/Saturday but should just be able to get a seat. Bordering on a bit too trendy for its own good, but still one of the best pubs around.

I love this place. I have visited twice, and both of them were treated with great food, a nice friendly atmosphere and helpful bar staff. I travel quite a lot alone so eating alone in bars can be a very interesting experience, depending on how they are treated. this place is on top of my 'safe and comfortable' list and they make a great steak, just as desired cooked.
the large constant in the changing landscape. a beautiful menu for these credit crunch times, local beer and national brew. we have almost won the quiz that is led by a creepy beat that actually leads the pub. is really busy at the weekend, but they have a great outdoor area. fun! brilliant little pub, great eating, great selection of board games and drinks. top floor area perfect area to cool or even rent. in any case one of me is after work.
