The Rookery Alehouse And Grill

This charming little food and brew spot is quite popular at the moment. The food is excellent, and they always have a new Pilsner for me to sample. My only complaint would be that the prices are on the higher side; I would visit more frequently if it were a little more affordable. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is relaxed—it's not pretentious at all. You’ll often find musicians there, thanks to the nearby Glass House venue across the street. It can get a bit busy around showtimes, but it’s the perfect place to grab a bite before catching a nostalgic concert at the Glass House. And I must mention, the mac and cheese is definitely worth the $13! It’s the best I've ever had!

Six of us retirees visited Rookery for the first time on a Monday evening, hoping to enjoy a special release of Pliny the Younger from the Russian River. While we were disappointed that it wasn't available, we did enjoy Pliny the Elder instead. Our server, who I believe was named Brit, did an excellent job attending to both the bar and table service. She was very attentive and friendly. With her help, we ordered burgers, and they were all fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and when we mentioned to Brit that there was a farewell toast at the bar, it felt like a nice touch. Overall, it was a great first experience on Second Street.

First time here. I usually stay away from Pomona but this place had good reviews and the menu is attractive. Was not disappointed at all. The service was great and the atmosphere was warm an welcoming. The food was good we had burgers and chimichurri fries and Brussel spouts and everything was delicious. If you are in the mood for some freshly made food that is prepared to order and flavors with great service. Give this place a try. Will be back to see if it is consistent and try the wings.

I discovered this fantastic restaurant while serving on jury duty. It’s just a short walk from the courthouse. The burgers are made to your liking, and they have an excellent selection of beers. I've returned even though I’m no longer in court! Food: 5/5 Reserva una mesa ahora

Believe it or not, three years after Covid, this restaurant still requires masks. Interestingly, it's not a community mandate, as many nearby establishments do not have this requirement. Can you imagine trying to eat and drink while wearing a mask?

I absolutely love this place! They always have an excellent selection of craft beers rotating from various regions. The chimichurri French fries and Brussels sprout appetizers are amazing, and the turkey pesto melt is just incredible!

Good burger, but everything is a little expensive. Beers are $9 and Burger meals are $20. It was solid for a night for the atmosphere and the service. Food: 4/5

You definitely have to try the chimichurri fries with brisket! They're worth the visit all by themselves.
