The Roost consistently offers a menu with variety to serve all, and includes many daily vegan options. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable, and when they don't know the veganism of any item they check until they are sure the answer. I went here with my friends on a day trip to Northampton, and I was very happy with the restaurant as a whole. I had a delicious vegan peanut butter smoothie and the zadie sandwich, which consists of sourdough bread, hummus, sprouts, cucumber, and tomato. Both were amazing and took no time at all to be delivered to my table. The staff was also very nice when my friend had no idea what to choose, and gave her lots of sincere suggestions. I live right on the street and it's my perfect place to get away a bit. In summer, the Tropical Fruit Turmeric Iced Tea INCREDIBLE (and I HATE herbal teas) and in winter a pot of English breakfast tea meets the place. Cookies are delicious. We're just in the middle of a huge snowstorm and I want to go over there this afternoon.
