A quick visit on a long dog walk, initially for refreshment but turned into ordering multiple sides including chips, onion rings, mushrooms. We were made very welcome as were our dogs, they had dog treats on hand at the special bar they’d made in the garden. Service was excellent, the place was really looked after. Food was very good, with the slight exception of the chips, which were very slightly undercooked, but still a very enjoyable visit and will be coming back when we can.
exceptional service and very good food. paul, john and the team provided the guests a afternoon of attentive service, and eating was over and above what was expected. we would not have asked for a better afternoon. so pleased that our original venue choice does not happen. will return to the juli for another smaller assembly. do not hesitate to wonder about the quality of food or standard of service here. our family was all offered very free about eating.
beautiful, friendly atmosphere, along with really friendly staff and a really delicious and well prepared steak and mushroom cake with seasonal vegetables, followed by a huge part of delicious apple crumbs and pumpkin. a really enjoyable afternoon with wonderful company. thanks to all those who have made this visit a truly unforgettable one. I'll go back there.
