The Rose and Crown Pub

This is a typical Lower Mainland pub but what was totally impressive and awesome was the incredibly attentive and friendly service and the single most incredible value in BC: There was a happy hour special of Kielbasa and Pierogies which was delicious, ample, covered in sauteed onions and scallions, had a big cup of ice cold sour cream, and cost FOUR DOLLARS! I would have been amazed at the value if it had come in at TEN DOLLARS! In a place like the Vancouver area where you pay thirty bucks for a slider and have the crazed overrich foodies sing its praises, it's amazing to find a DELICIOUS CHEAP value like this!!!!!

Pro’s: Good food, nice staff, good parking area. Management do a grt job on events, eg: St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, etc. Con’s: Very expensive (City prices better deals nearby). Worst Chicken Wings in Delta, Needs a complete Reno.

TV.s all over, unfortunately the Canucks lost (again) but the Seahawks won. Enjoyed a Barbecue Burger and a cold pint of Canadian. The service was very good

Get there early and take advantage of the happy hour drink and food specials. Food was good and drinks like any bar. Today’s special was sliders.
