It was the first time we’d had Christmas dinner “out” and there was 16 of us to cater for so we were a little nervous that the service and food would be below parr but we needn’t have been. The Rose Garden superseded all our expectations. Charlotte who took our booking was an absolute diamond. She accommodated some of our picky eaters which I was frankly stunned at as it’s a Christmas Day set menu! Very disappointed with the food. Ordered sea bass in white wine sauce , but when it arrived it was covered in a brown sauce . When I queried the sauce was told it was a white sauce with spices added( that made it taste of curry). The sea bass was then replaced but although the sauce was a lighter colour it still tasted of curry and I’m not sure it was even sea bass! Be very careful when you order anything as most of the sauces taste of curry. Such a shame as nice venue but I wouldn’t eat there again.
This restaurant is quite special, as we have visited multiple times and each time we have enjoyed excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the salmon and prawn parcel for a starter. The main courses were beautifully presented and delicious - I had the seabass and my husband had the liver and bacon, both of which were excellent. The dessert, a white chocolate cheesecake, was also delicious and fluffy. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal in a lovely setting.

We went for the Valentine's Day set menu. I ordered the beef Wellington, but the beef was overcooked and dry, making it difficult to eat. There wasn't a lot of options for starters and desserts, so I only had the main course, which was not very enjoyable. I also overheard other customers complaining about their dishes being overcooked.
My self and 6 other members of my family went to the rose garden on 25 th December for 3 coarse dinner it was absolutely delicious starters main and afters think probably one of the best restaurant dinners we have ever had the owner and the staff were amazing throughout.THANK YOU we will be back and would guarantee the Rose Garden
We went to the restaurant last night for dinner with a group of six. We all loved the food, from the starters to the main course and dessert. Everything tasted delicious. The waitress was very friendly and provided excellent service. We all agreed that we would definitely be returning soon.
Spending Xmas day meal here so tried the food today for lunch.cant fault it .above average 4 different meals all first class .I had the chicken curry and it was better than our local Indian restaurant.

2/1/24 Our 64th wedding anniversary we spent it with our grandson and his wife had the most amazing food and great service will definitely be back thank you
Great service, extensive choice and delicious food. A real gem of a place that we are so pleased to have found. Looking forward to returning.
