The Royal - Reserva de mesa

Returned here after a couple of years and was delighted to find that the food and service were as good as ever; Attention to detail and food presentation is faultless; Lovely relaxing atmosphere and friendly faces; By far the best eating experience anywhere in the Lothians and beyond; If only more restaurants could be of this standard!

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly. I used to visit this place about 50 years ago, and when I mentioned this to one of the owners, he gave me a tour of the beautiful upstairs area. Once all the rooms are done, it will be fantastic. The meal was delicious and the surroundings were top-notch.

Returned to the Royal after a gap of some years for lunch. Extensive menu of choices at reasonable prices. Asked for extra spicy pasta arrabiatta which was excellent followed by chocolate brownie. Service was attentive and will now be returning on a more regular basis.

The menu offers a variety of great choices and the portions are generous. You can opt for normal or lighter bite portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was friendly. A huge plus was that our dog was allowed in the bar area! Reserva una mesa ahora

The Royal has had a complete refurbishment and the decor is 1st class. There food is still excellent and the staff know exactly what there doing and always have a smile for you. Would rate this one if the best eating places in Penicuk

Fantastic food and service. The same as it was before and during lockdown. The restaurant has had a makeover and it looks fab, modern and clean. Well done Si and the team. Keep up the good work

Had a great meal and fantastic service. Menu is really varied so suited my father in law and us as i had mexican, wife had pasta and father in law had steak pie. All tasted great Reserva una mesa ahora

A group of us stayed over on Saturday night and it was great. Nice rooms lovely breakfast and brilliant staff who were very friendly and helpful We will be back next year !!
