My wife and I decided to try this restaurant tonight (10/9/20). Although we tried Peerce 's and thought was excellent, we wanted to try something closer. Royal Kitchen serves Indian/nepali food and everything we can say is WOW! Very good. Since we don't know about Indian food, we ordered all the mild instead of hot or extra hot. Mild was just... really perfect. We can only talk about what we shared, although their menu was quite extensive. Appetizer.... The food here is excellent, but the ordering process is quite frustrating. When you place your order, you're given a time for when it should be ready. However, I've experienced multiple instances where I arrive at that time only to find that they are just starting to prepare my meal. Similarly, if you order online and are told it will be ready in 30 minutes, you might find yourself waiting an additional 15 to 20 minutes when you arrive. This has happened to me twice now, which is unfortunate because the food is genuinely good. It’s a shame, as it feels like they're not considering customers' schedules. Over the past few months, I've tried several dishes from this restaurant and have always enjoyed them. However, yesterday’s experience was exceptional. I ordered a variety of items for family and friends, including goat biryani, lamb saag, vegetable jalfrezi, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and naan. Each dish had the spice level I requested, which I truly appreciated. Even though I picked up my order a bit late, the food was still hot. This place offers the best tasting Indian cuisine around the Hunt Valley area, particularly appealing to those with a South Indian palate. Our experience at Royal Kitchen was truly enjoyable. The waitress was both friendly and well-informed. The appetizers we chose were flavorful; we ordered vegetable samosas and chaat papri, and among the two, the chaat papri stood out as exceptional! For our main courses, we had shrimp tikka masala, plain naan, and chicken tikka masala served with garlic naan. For dessert, we indulged in gulab jamun and rice kheer, both of which were delicious! We will definitely be returning to Royal Kitchen.

Truly the worst Indian meal I've ever had. The chicken tikka masala was completely flavorless, huge chunks of plain, unspiced chicken sitting in a pretty orange sauce that had zero flavor. It was hard to find any actual onion amidst the batter in theonion bhajia. The samosas and malai kofta were somewhat better, but not great. We ordered takeout so I will not comment on theambiance or service. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Had not had any good Indian food in a while, saw this place on my way home. Not worth the money I paid. For the a 20 entrée I literally got 1 piece of dried chicken breast in big chunks. Horrible portion for the money. Maybe the buffet is where its at.Definitely not the regular menu.
