The Royal Oak - Reserva de mesa

We love this place visited for a Sunday lunch for our nephews birthday. The food was great, really tasty so much veg to share. We took along a birthday cake which we expected just to be brought out on the tray we took it on, but no! The staff brought it out singing happy birthday, all beautifully presented on a cake display decorated around with freeze dried strawberries icing sugar, with the candles carefully positioned. Such attention to detail thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely meal.

My partner and I, along with our dog, decided to stop in for lunch after reading the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious menu at reasonable prices. Our meals were superb, cooked and presented beautifully with generous portions. We were very impressed and will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Went here last night as we have just moved into the village. It was a wonderful warm welcome and a very friendly place. A lovely choice of ales and the the food was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be heading back and will definitely recommend!!

Visiting friends locally we looked for a cosy friendly pub for Sunday roast we couldn’t have chosen better. The staff were friendly and helpful and the roast Sunday lunches delicious. Thank you! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was really nice, service was really good too. Unfortunately we went during restriction time, so we had to sit outside, and it was really cold with the wind even in the summer!

Fantastic meal with wonderful friendly service. Roasts were amazing with fresh vegetables and plenty of meat. Lovely atmosphere and not hurried at all. Dog made welcome too.

we were given a very warm welcome by the lovely young bar man and waitress. our food was top quality home cooked british pub grub. real fire was another treat.
