nice friendly pub, which is still a pub, but also served to eat. prices for beer and food are very reasonable and the quantity and quality are good. always check today's special. recommended when they look for a pub instead of a gastroub/restaurant.

We popped in for a drink with some friends at the Royal Oak in Bookham in the high street. In some ways it was like going back in time at this basic friendly village pub. The service was friendly and it had a pleasant atmosphere

Visiting this pub is like going back in time. Very reminiscent of he sixties and seventies. Very basic but nice. Service was good and we enjoyed it here for a couple of drinks. We did not eat in the restaurant

Great pub, good service but had to go outside because beautiful bar was full of yapping barking dogs. When will selfish owners realise many people are not obsessed with their furry friends
