The Royal Oak, Scopwick

Four of us went for a midweek lunch. The table and had been booked and was ready for us. The dining area is warm and spacious, everything clean and appealing. The owners and Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We had all pre ordered the Greek Meze. You can give them your budget, and they provide food accordingly . 4 courses in all for £30pp, and I can assure any reader here, that I didn’t eat anything else that day. All the courses were traditional and authenticity presented. Every dish was individually cooked , the meats were to die for. Sauces and the usual side dips accompanied each course. We were not left wanting. My only comment would be, that I wish we could have had longer break between courses as per the normal Greek way of dining . So if you don’t want all the courses top to tail, just let them know at the outset. Not a complaint, more our fault for not saying in the first place. I certainly think we had value for money, the food and the bar. The place is also dog friendly. I f you enjoy food, Greek or otherwise I would thoroughly recommend this establishment. We will all be returning for another excellent dining experience.

Dinner for two and the authentic greek choices on the menu were lovely. Mains courses of Moussaka and Spetsofai didn't disappoint and very obviously home made. Attentive, friendly staff made for a wonderful experience in this lovely village pub. Definitely recommend.

Visited on a busy Tuesday evening and enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was plentiful and well cooked and presented. Very tasty and with a Greek theme, a tasty change from the usual pub grub. We will be back again soon to try some of the other dishes

BEST GREEK FOOD OUTSIDE OF GREECE Fabulous mixed grill and salads. Warm cheese starters to die for. Extensive Greek menu with all the classics 5* Friendly and comfortable.

We had a lovely meal today the food was lovely and felt like I had been to Greece Homemade chips too
