the rye is a renovated yet charming rustic gastropub. there are many seating and a huge beer garden for the warmer weather. the service is friendly and efficient. there is both a restaurant and a bar menu, so much choice to eat. I had the veggie lentil burger from the bar menu, which was delicious and super-filling! they have a decent selection of beer on hahn and offer a few craft beer in their selection. prices for food and drinks are standard for an iondoner pub. definitiw a great pub for a drink or eat with friends.
Began our evening with drinks outside which was very enjoyable, always a buzzy atmosphere at this pub. We moved inside to eat in the restaurant, unfortunately the food was disappointing on this occasion. The burgers were overcooked and dry and the fish and chips was mainly batter. We had Prosecco which was a special price of £20 a bottle (on Fridays) which is amazing value. We also had the Gavi which was extremely good.
We had the Sunday roast, the food was fresh and full of taste. The only thing we didn't like was the gravy pre poured onto the meal and not in a boat to do ourselves. The staff were excellent, attentive and pleasant whilst not being overbearing. Pricewise the meal reasonably priced and we would definitely visit again.
Was great but discovered they don’t accept cash payment card only transactions which I strongly don’t agree with and after many visits will now not be booking again. Cash is legal tender and should be accepted

This not a restaurant. No table service. There appears to be a dining area. If we sat there, they advised us to go to the bartender to order.
I love this pub so much, I always take my family here when they come and visit! Service was great, lovely staff, food was good too!
Love the friendly service , the food was awesome , beer was great! I went here 5 times during my 10 day stay in the UK , love it
We had just about everything from their starter menu as we didn't fancy ordering a big meal each.
