The Sandbar, LLC - Reserva de mesa

We were planning on eat at the food trucks at Long Wharf but due to heavy rain they all closed early. Then I found this place on map. They were busy with both walk in and call in orders. There is no place to sit so we had to order to go and bring to hotel. The portions are good, food would be crispier if we could eat right there. We had two combo boxes with fish claim stripes, shrimps calamaris. They all tasted very fresh, lightly battered and fried to golden crispy. Kids had hamburger and hot dog kids meals.

2nd time getting fried seafood here. Omg the best fried fresh clam strips,calamari and fried shrimp and it's flash fried perfect. Shrimp are huge. I got a combo box of the 3, cost$35 and for fresh seafood and a good large amount price was good.. I wish I could give it a 10 star, that's how good it was. It was enough for 2 people. It's my goto place for fresh fried seafood.. If you've never tried it you have to try it at least once... yummy.....

Had diarrhea for a whole week, then found out it was food poisoning. I ordered fried scallops. The only way you can mess that up is if you leave the raw scallops out of the fridge for more than 20 minutes (against health code for good reason).Food: 1/5

Always go here. This is a small place but the food is excellent! In my opinion it has better shrimp and whole bellies that are better than jimmies at savern rock...did I spell that right. Reserva una mesa ahora

We wanted seafood found this place on a google search. We had the fish onion rings. It was delicious. If we're ever in Connecticut again we'll definitely go back for shrimp.

It's alright for a hotdog and fried dough. Not a bad place to sit even considering the location.
