The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant

Turned up with no reservation and got a table for 2 by the window. Crab hors d'oeuvres was fabulous (shared it). My halibut was amazing. My partners jambalaya was good too. Wine choices and suggestions were excellent as was the service. We obviously benefited from being early diners as the place was almost full as we left. Would go again if we find ourselves in Vancouver again.

The restaurant is in a fantastic spot along False Creek, and the service we experienced was exceptional. The fresh seafood menu is impressive, and my dish of Sable fish with a miso glaze was outstanding—absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place, and don't miss trying the fresh Chef Creek oysters and the truffle fries—they're a must!

When they asked if we wanted to sit on the patio on the rainy November evening we weren't quite sure what to think, but when they took us upstairs it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious and our waiter Chris went above and beyond. Will definitely be back again!

Had the sablefish which was fantastic. I usually only like raw or flaky cooked ... but when it’s fresh and the chef knows the deal .... this buttery oily melty goodness cannot be beat. Great view. Great service. Great food.

Heated, covered patio was warm and cozy and the views were amazing even in the rain. We had amazing service and the food was delish! Would definitely recommend it!

Pricey but totally worth it! Loved the ambiance and the view. Service was great and food were fresh and served fairly quick. Would totally go back!
