on our table immediately shown. drinks served at the table, which was good. lunch menu gave a large selection to arrange. we chose sandwiches. more than expected. the quality of food was good, although the garnels lacked, the plate look very dirty. service was good. all in all pleasant enough experience that we would return to try the main menus.
The food was good quality great value for money. . I had the duck salad which proved to be very tasty but not too heavy or filling. The white wine we had with the meal was gorgeous. Service was polite, attentive and friendly. I almost left my specs behind by accident, but the waiter spotted this and helpfully returned them to me.
the sandpiper never makes me happy. this time, however, was not the usual experience, the slowness was explained how the non-availability of puddings. so, although somewhat disappointed about this experience, the young waiters on them by their honesty, and I will visit again and recommend.
Table became available on time and in our preferred location in the restaurant. Service was just right not rushed but not slow either. Food was delicious. The lady serving us was friendly and obliging. My wife’s birthday meal went well Reserva una mesa ahora
Cant fault FOH staff great service! Food however not so great, ribeye steak mostly fat. Beef bouginon very rich and also full of fat. Decor beautiful in its rustic country vive but definitely due a rerurb as walls not so clean.
dominic and his team always make us very welcome, eating was nice and our German brain loves the place. nothing a problem, always a pleasure thanks to dominic and crew!
Really nice pub restaurant, perfect for Sunday Lunch. Excellent food and very good service, even when busy . Good car park and close to Edge Hill University..
