The Scullery - Reservar una mesa

Staff barely interested when we walked in, really rude when taking our order as if it was a huge bother to be there. Threw the food on the table, no cutlery for the food, no “is there anything else I can get you”. The only words that came out of us was our food items, please and thank you. It seems like they’d rather do anything else but do what they are supposed to do. Sandwich was good and so is the coffee and frappes, soup is tinned so beware. Staff ultimately make this place horrible and we won’t be back. I would avoid going here as it is just upsetting to see such angry and miserable faces roll their eyes at doing their work.

Not great to be honest. In my opinion very over priced for food that wasn 't of great quality. Bacon undercooked, and seemed more packet than butcher style which I would expect from a cafe/restaurant. Black pudding was cold, soda under toasted so that it went extremely soggy when the sausage and bacon were thrown on top. Eggs benedict was very basic! Hollandaise sauce was really bland! Cappuccino was more like a latte in a cup, and I barely got 1 small cup of tea out of the pot I received (which was £2.10) The staff cleaned the tables with the palm of their hands instead of a cloth and spray. Not a great experience im afraid

Coffee was nice. However, staff were rude. It wasn’t even busy when we came. Cutleries were just thrown on our table. Ordered soup with their sourdough bread, but they served us white toast instead. Asked for water, never got it so approached the till and the staff just handed us 2 empty glasses and asked us to just get a bottle from their reception. Avoid this cafe unless you’re desperate for food.

Busy day, so I waited in line to put in my order. Was told to sit down if I am going to order food. Found a table outside, but nobody came to take my order while everyone else got their coffee so I was left waiting for nothing in the cold. That was a bit unpleasant. The pasta I had there the other day was nice though

Amazing atmosphere and food was very good
