The Secret Garden Cafe

Same location, but with a fresh new look and updated name! The Bistro is still located within the Shelmerdine garden centre, and the best part is that it’s now about ten times larger than before. The seating has been expanded, and the updated menu complements the new ambiance perfectly. Although the garden centre is a bit out of the way from the city and a distance from most restaurants, it is well worth it to skip fast food chains and support this café. Considering the garden centre's somewhat remote location, which is a drive away from most dining options, this upgrade has been a long-awaited improvement. It's definitely worth it to skip a fast-food lunch in favor of supporting this café, which offers a delightful selection of fresh soups, salads, and other dishes. You can also cool off with their freshly made lemonade or choose from an array of delicious gelato flavors. Additionally, they serve a variety of other cold and hot beverages, including coffees and teas. If you're planning a visit to the garden centre, be sure to check out the revamped café!

I recently visited this cafe for the first time, and I was impressed! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside is that there is limited seating.
