The Select Restaurant Bar

We had to wait 45 minutes for our reservation after our reservation time. We should have left right then, but we stupidly decided to stay for the worst fine dining experience of our lives. The food was wickedly too salty and poorly seasoned. The portions were too small and not in an elegant way. There was only 1 bathroom per gender and the line was always wrapped around the bar, which isn 't good when you have a medical condition. The live singer that was there wasn 't even very good. We were bombarded with bad from every angle. The only things that made the experience remotely better was that the server was really sweet, the restaurant was pretty, and the dishes looked nice in their present...

I have visited this restaurant numerous times in the past and have always received excellent food and service. However, on my most recent visit as a vegetarian, I was disappointed with the vegetarian options. The Primavera pasta, in particular, was not enjoyable as the sauce was too thick and the vegetables were difficult to chew. Nevertheless, the desserts were fantastic. The server was friendly and attentive to our requirements. The atmosphere was pleasant, although it was a bit chilly in the sunroom where we were seated.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The staff is efficient and pleasant. The decor in the bar area is fabulous, and the bar staff (Zuly, Maddie, Jordan) are amazing. They, along with the talented entertainment, ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. If you want a top-notch dining experience, The Select is the place to be. Valet parking is inexpensive and the staff is efficient, caring, and friendly (shout out to Jack James).

The Select is very average. Staff is friendly, atmosphere and decor are great, but the food is just severely lacking. The most disappointing was the INCREDIBLY dry “short rib”, which is, in fact, not short rib, and is 100% pot roast. I think for a restaurant like this to deceptively market dry pot roast as beef short rib is silly. There are a lot of better restaurants around Atlanta. Service: Dine in Reserva una mesa ahora

I went back to The Select for my birthday, and the experience was much better this time. The service was excellent, and the live music and lovely Christmas decorations added to the atmosphere. In celebration of my birthday, we were given a free champagne toast. My friend ordered the lamb burger and I had the house burger for our meals, both of which were decent.

I went with a large group and was impressed by how efficiently they handled the service. The food was outstanding. The service was top-notch. We dined in for dinner and the price per person ranged from $50 to $100. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.

We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant tonight for my friend's birthday. The staff surprised us with a free champagne toast! I highly recommend trying the homemade pasta and salmon dish. The ambiance was great and overall, it had a cozy, upscale atmosphere.
