This restaurant is black cuisine at its finest! Delicious food and exceptional customer service. About the food?every single morsel was some of the best I?ve had. Let me focus on some of the highlights. The home fries are incredible. Very savory and sowell seasoned. Absolutely could?ve been satisfied with just eating that. I would highly recommend them. The French toast though?Crazy delicious! A must have. As mentioned, everything was delicious but those two items were the superstars. My very picky andhard to please son had the veggie omelette and gave it a perfect 10. My daughter had the catfish with a waffle, and added a sideof bacon and fries and gave everything a perfect 10. Now?about th...

My family and I visited The Serving Spoon last Sunday for brunch. Although the quoted one-hour wait was a bit daunting, we decided to stay—and the 45-minute wait turned out to be well worth it. The staff were professional, attentive, and efficient. Our server, Z, who reminded me of Ciara, was polite and courteous, frequently saying please and thank you to both customers and coworkers. She greeted us warmly with a smile and thanked us for waiting. The entire team was constantly busy, serving, attending to guests, and always smiling. They wore their masks properly and frequently used hand sanitizer between tasks. The background music was excellent. The food exceeded our expectations—the French...

I was in los angeles for my birthday and I wanted to find a good breakfast restaurant. So I did my research as usual and found the Serving Spoon. The food and service was excellent ???? I had cheese grits, eggs, homemade potatoes with peppers and onions, and homemade turkey sausage. Omg the potatoes and turkey sausage was so freakin good. I cook a lot at home so I had highexpectations, and the food exceeded my expectations. The Cali love was in full effect when I went. I had an older couple eatnext to me, and when they found out it was my birthday, and I was from Florida they secretly paid for my food thank you so muchand I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in los angeles. The people were the best part of the experience. I love that even though the location is not the largest the enviroment was great and welcoming. My only issues were the overly loud music and that the food was not what I expected. The chicken was fried to hard and was dry on the inside but the flavor was there. I would go back just to try other items on the menu and to interact with the amazing staff again. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Reserva una mesa ahora

Let me start by saying I’m glad I even got the chance to place an order. The parking lot is small, and it’s clearly a very popular spot. I was a bit disappointed because I went specifically for the shrimp and grits, but they only serve that dish a few days a week—I believe from Thursday to Sunday. That said, I really enjoyed the catfish; everything else was great.

Amazing breakfast spot near my house. Been going for years and the food is consistently delicious. The place gets super packed and when they have only one server the service really suffers. The waffle and potatoes are one of a kind. It’s a five out of five for consistency through the years. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
