The Ship Inn - Reservar una mesa

My friend and I visited here after receiving a recommendation from family. The sun was shining and there were several people sat outside but we opted to go inside. The tables are plentiful but it all felt a bit disjointed with two rooms inside, a covered area on the patio so to speak and then a couple of tables by the canal. We opted for an internal room but spent most of the evening in there alone after other customers left which didn’t really lend itself to a good ambiance. The canal, itself, is green and sludgy. Can’t blame that on the pub but disappointing all the same when you look on a map and expect it to be alongside water but that’s our fault for not checking it out. There was an ex...

Popped in for a bite to eat and a pint tonight with my other half. What a lovely location and friendly staff. Well priced food and drink and generous portions.

Fabulous pub with fabulous friendly staff. Had an amazing roast dinner. Have already recommended to friends and family.
