First time here for my Birthday treat from my son and daughter. It certainly wont be my last. Excellent food, friendly and efficient service. Top notch. It's not the cheapest pub by any means, but the food is above average and the location is conveniently just across the road from the river. We visit at least once a month and enjoy sitting on one of the outdoor or sheltered benches, especially when it's windy. The steak pie and fish and chips are especially popular choices. First class ingredients in a beautiful, cosy restaurant. The seafood especially is second to none. Highly recommend , I would pre book though due to it’s popularity.
