The Ship Tavern - Reserva de mesa

I had my retirement night out here at the weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. The venue was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Starting the night outside on a beautiful summers night set the scene for the wonderful night ahead. The amount of guests who said how exceptionally good the food was, great value for money and they couldn’t fault a thing has been unbelievable. The service was excellent, organisation ensured everything ran smoothly and the staff couldn’t do enough to make it a really special night. A big thank you to Karen, Adam, chef and the girls for making this a night to remember for me.

We had visited here earlier this year and enjoyed it so much that when we had family visiting we decided to take them there. Unfortunately, we had actually made a mistake with our booking and when we called prior to arriving they didn't have our booking totally our fault. We were so grateful that they managed to accommodate us at very short notice in their function suite even although it was set up for a function the next day. The staff were wonderful and the food again was delicious. Can't praise them highly enough. Thank you to all.

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this restaurant. From the moment we walked in and had our temperatures checked for COVID, the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The service was exceptional, and we never felt rushed during our meal.

From the outside it just looks like a normal pub. Once inside it has been decorated to a high standard. The Cuillin Skink was excellent but be wary the portions are generous. Go for the half portion so you can appreciate the main course.

Hi,we came here on reccomendation,I had cullen skink and then fillet steak/peppercorn sauce.Well-the peppercorn sauce spoiled the meal,wish I never had any sauce.The soup was ok but nothing special.

Delicious meals, we had starters main and dessert all generous portions. Steak and Seabass cooked up perfection, dessert trio was amazing. Rest of the party really enjoyed their liquor coffees. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff ,food ,decor and outdoor area ..... all absolutely outstanding . The food is the best I have tasted in years . We cannot wait to return . Thank you for a brilliant evening .
