This restaurant is consistently one of my favorite upscale omakase experiences. The menus change regularly, and each course is a delightful surprise. The fish is always super fresh and well seasoned. The first course is always a delicious surprise, such as an ankimo mousse choux. Everything is incredibly flavorful and perfectly in season. The chef shares information about each season and where the fish is from. Even the pickled ginger is fancy, with young pickled ginger that is tart and refreshing. In addition to the omakase menu, they also offer an amazing uni wagyu dish that makes me very happy. The sake pairing is also fantastic, with generous pours. I recommend splitting one pairing betw...

This restaurant is consistently one of my favorite hidden gems. The menu changes regularly, and each dish is a delight. All the seafood is incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The first dish is always a surprise of deliciousness: an ankimo mousse choux. Everything is wonderfully flavorful and sourced seasonally. The chef even shares where the fish was caught each season. The ginger is also exceptional: they offer a young pickled ginger that is tangy and refreshing. Additionally, the uni wagyu dish is a standout and always leaves me feeling happy. The wine pairing options are also fantastic and plentiful - I initially thought one would be enough, but ended up ordering more. Lastly, the tamago...

First time dining here thanks to watching the Eater YouTube video. Sat at the bar and was attended to by the excellent Chef Aki for the most part but the others were just as good as well. Love how they took the time to explain each dish and more importantly how to eat it! The tuna demonstration was also a wonderful learning experience for me and those dishes were my favorites, particularly the temaki. If I would do one thing differently, I’d add the sake pairing! Overall, the best Japanese experience I’ve had in San Francisco! Will definitely come here again!

A delightful personal experience with the 3 special chefs who met at Napa Morimoto’s years ago. Artistic and substantial with special detail and exquisite presentation. Timing and cadence of omakase excellent, and the ankimo (monkfish liver) best I’ve ever had made by chef Seth. Paired with a couple special beers a yuzo and a rice based perfect for the first several lighter flights. Highly recommend for seasoned and beginner omakese venturers. Reserva una mesa ahora

The best Omakase/Kaiseiki in San Francisco's Financial District! They rotate menus based on the seasons, and the presentation of each dish is like a work of art. The food, service, and atmosphere all made our evening truly delightful. Definitely try the sake pairing! Chef Ingi (Shota) is incredibly friendly and enjoyable to converse with.
