This non-vegetarian restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The interior had beautiful decor, tall ceilings, a fireplace, and stylish decorations. Morgan, whose family owns the restaurant, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Despite not having a reservation, she was able to accommodate us after a cancellation and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. I enjoyed a delicious $5 mocktail and some amazing vegan dishes, which can be hard to come by in rural areas. this place could not have been better until non-veg restaurants go. the inner has amazing decoration with high ceilings, a fireplace, chic interior decoration. morgan whose family has the restaurant could no longer have been welcoming or warm. we had no reservation, but she had taken us one after a cancellation and made sure that she checked us during the meal. We flew to Vermont just to check this place out and it did not disappoint. We got there early and had a couple drinks while we waited for our table and the drinks were good. For a starter we had fried cheese balls (it had a different name) with anchovie dip and they were AMAZING. For dinner we had Wienerschnitzel and the Maryland crab cake and they were both delicious. The schnitzel was as good if not better than any I had in my travels in Germany. For dessert we had the bread pudding and it was hands down my favorite bread pudding ever. I recently had a fantastic dinner with 6 friends at this restaurant. We all agreed that it was one of the best meals we have ever had. We were seated in a private room, one of the small rooms in the former library, at a round table with a very attentive server. For my starter, I had the lobster soup which came with a few scissors to cut the cheese garnish. For my main course, I had the crab cake which was also delicious. We finished off with the bread pudding for dessert, which was fabulous even for those who aren't usually fans of bread pudding. First off- the address is wrong and needs to updated but the wonders of siri found it. It is located in an old public library. We are at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and informed about the food and the drinks and the menu and the timing of when they brought the food was great. The presentation and quality of the food was superb. The talk was about beers and fresh ingredients in the food. I after we completed the starter the waiter brought up desert because it would take 30 minutes to prepare. We were not planning on desert but based on the quality of the fresh dish we could not pass on desert- the bread pudding was amazing

After nearly a year of trying, we finally secured a reservation at this restaurant set in a converted library. The atmosphere was cozy, romantic, and stylish. The hostess and wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We ordered French onion soup and escargot, both of which were delicious. We were impressed by the wine selection and prices. For our main course, we chose the white carvings, which came with a generous portion and a warm potato salad. Unsure if we could eat more, we also ordered the bread pudding dessert. Overall, it was a beautiful meal and culinary experience.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the bar tonight at the Silver Fork, located in the old library. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The swordfish and French onion soup were outstanding. Even though we usually don't order dessert, we couldn't resist trying the bread pudding after seeing everyone around us enjoying it, and it did not disappoint.

This place has truly earned its reputation. From the second we walked in, to the moment we left, it seemed that every aspect of the dining experience was perfected. The space is beautiful, the staff was warm and inviting, and the food and drinks were delicious. The chef has an eclectic background, which is nicely reflected on the menu. I highly recommend. Oh my word simply fantastic. Before we left England we had identified the Silver Fork as the place we wished to dine at. Be warned make a reservation so you don’t miss out. We didn’t but luckily Melody took pity on us squeezed us in. Wonderful drink, food service. Recommend crab cake, weinerschitzle bread pudding soufflé. Wonderful thank you Chris Jayne

fabulous dinner experience! very recommended the silver fork! hands down one of the best meal times we ever had - the laughs, white carvings, steak tartare and brotpudding were excellent! we cannot say enough – the personal was so nice, really helpful and the ambiente was perfect. a really wonderful culinary experience!
