I visited The Smith’s today with my daughter and enjoyed reminiscing about my youth and family events held there in the past. The venue has maintained its charm but updated and modernised to offer a lovely environment both indoors and outdoors for drinks and food. Everyone we met from this family run venue from the owner to the bar staff and chef was so friendly and welcoming. The food was cooked fresh to order, although it takes a little longer it was well worth the wait. No microwave warm ups here. The pie chips and vegetables where lush with lovely thick gravy. My daughters Parmo was lovely too with chips and fresh salad. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks
The Smiths restaurant is faultless. We have visited several times and the food has always been superb. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are exceptional. During one visit, we had my two-year-old niece with us and the waitress was wonderful with her, allowing her to pretend to take the order and even giving her a 50p coin. We will definitely keep coming back to The Smiths for meals and will recommend it to our friends due to its family-friendly atmosphere, consistently great food, and outstanding staff.
Warmly welcomed with the family for Fathers Day lunch. In addition to their generous Sunday lunch choices (especially delicious yorkies and gravy) they offered parmos (enjoyed by 2 of our group) and a range of options for the children who are always difficult to cater for. We all enjoyed our lunch (too much food as usual) and one finicky grandson said he had the best Mac and cheese he had ever tasted! Praise indeed. They all want to visit again!
The staff at this restaurant was outstanding. The food was incredible. We started with the loaded nachos, which were very tasty. The surf turf parmo was unreal and full of flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and served with delicious chips. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. We will definitely be back soon to try the other items on the menu.

I recently enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very efficient. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The food was delicious, and the dessert was simply scrumptious. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back soon.
A very hearty and generously portioned roast dinner, which was lovely. Dessert of bread and butter pudding was huge and delicious. The beer was good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money and will return.
Supper Club tonight was a fabulous experience. Excellent food, brilliant service, great ambience and gentle live music in the background. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Suggest we have one once a quarter. Well done Bethany and the team!
Absolutely amazing food practically licked the plate so nice friendly staff ! So tasty and fresh ! Definitely recommend a visit will be returning x
