I thought I would give this pub the advantage of the doubt and try again, but unfortunately it is still not better. we spoke to another couple and they said that the merciful is rude, I said she was rude when we came here. while I don't know if she's the owner or a merciful, as she needs to either teach in customer service. eating on the other side was good, but I will not visit this pub again, while this owner / merciful is still there
Cant fault this little boozer.me and my husband moved to this village cause I got a job at a different pub as a fine dining chef...I couldn't have felt more welcomed by all the staff at this little gem opposite my work place and generally...the kind hearted ppl at this place.All I can say is its warm,friendly and if you wanna good time....go here.it's the best in the village xx
Some old friends met up in Rayleigh and then we decided to move onto the Smugglers Den. On a Saturday night they had a band, who were excellent. People were dancing and a great atmosphere. Matt behind the bar always gives a great service however...busy the bar is. Great night, great atmosphere and keep going back time after t8me.
not for many years at the smugglers and I don't remember that it's something special. how different is now a large selection of drinks, excellent bar staff, especially matt, and the outside seat at the river is a fantastic relatiw new supplement. defined on my master list. Reserva una mesa ahora
My friend offered us to go here for a few beers at lunchtime. What a pleasant pub this is with a good selection of beers and plenty of outside seating. Worth a visit
at my last visit we were served by an rude lady called angie, no customer service skills at all, no or thank you. glasses were dirty. will not go back there
