Southern Comfort. This traditional pub really hits the spot in so many ways. The interior is perfectly judged with period detailing and modern touches. The menu is well balanced to suit most tastes and budgets. I opted for a breakfast and was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the way they were cooked. The use of a proper grill makes all the difference. The only issue I had was the level of lighting at the bar. It was very dark indeed and ruined the ambience in that area. In all, a great venue and I look forward trying their steaks on my next visit.
on Monday evening to dinner there was a pretty quiet but a good atmosphere. the place is quite cool, they have board games and we got drums-lolopps when we finish our burgers. I ordered a chilli burger with sweet potatoes, the burger was really good and really sharp. would definitely go back, really cool place!
another complete Scottish breakfast in edinburgh! I once came here to get a pint with my friends and I loved the place! the breakfast was really good and the staff nice, but I waited 30 minutes for 2 breakfast and the pub was almost empty
Fantastic burgers, atmosphere and staff, this place is so nicely tucked along newington, great for a sunday get together and a few beers! Defo recomend for a relaxed and wanting a night out feel with no hassle!

with some friends fell in. they have an excellent wide, if hahn beer. usually burger with a few other pieces. very tasty. would recommend.
