The Spiining Jenny until recently offered excellent value food served by friendly staff in a pleasant environment. It offered all the usual Stonegate Tavern food specials. However that is now a thing of the past and the Spinning Jenny serves no food at all. Up to 4 cask ales are served, but mainly national brands. Tuesday is Cask Ale night where ale is £1.50 a pint. A Loyalty Card exists giving one free pint after seven pints have been purchased.
Went into this establishment for a few drinks with friends on a quiet night. Two barstaff both male and female can only be described as arrogant and lacking several brain cells. Refused to take my drinks order over what seemed to be a personal dislike to a member of my group. Not a professional setup even though a chain.
Been for a drink today, staff were great, pleasent and helpful, but unfortunately my wife went to the toilet and there was no toilet rolls in all 6 cubicles, staff said sorry but we have no toilet rolls, but there is one in the disabled toilet, not good for a town centre pub.
Very hospitable public house serving Guinness to jaded 50 somethings trying to relive achievements from 35 years ago, each of us having reach for a pair of reading glasses to read the menu. Emily and Amanda are diamonds, even laughing at our jokes Reserva una mesa ahora
Me and my friends came in here before going to Manchester. The staff where great. Peter the lad behind the bar was very welcoming. Drinks were cheap and was a lovely place to start my birthday night out.
Had a lovely experience with great service and lovely staff. Wait time for food is reasonable and was impressed with the results. Would definitely recommend!
Better now that the gm iwona has gone. She’s a nasty woman but the staff are lovely. The staff seem happier and more enjoying their work.
The last few times i visited this place it stank it needs deep cleaning and the toilets need cleaning its a dump. Reserva una mesa ahora
The bar staff are so nice and friendly. Highly recommended to start you night out here. There gin is to die for!
