The place is a good old Greek restaurant with which I grew up in my hometown. The food was super duper excellent! A little slow on the service, but I still value this restaurant high. The Spot Restaurant gives you the good old, cozy feeling. The food is excellent. The location on Upper Front Street is a beautiful place, just don't understand why they have these stupid traffic circles in Binghamton. Whoever thought about it really had her head up there shirt!
I started with the Greek Salad and that was good. My wife started with Chicken pasta and she liked that. I got the southern fried catfish with sausage gravy. The cat fish was nasty and probably should have been thrown out a week ago. I only had 2 bites. Fries were crispy and good. My wife got the Turkey club with potato salad. Bread was burnt a little bit but was edible. Potato salad was ok. Waitress took the catfish of the bill. Place was clean.
Eating and too expensive. Only the good in the restaurant was Saige the waitress. Poor lady can do something about menu or decor from 1940s. Omlette was cold and cheese was not cooked inside. Also a blob cheese. Waffle was in the nanny. The Kreuzaint was roasted, who does that? Decor of restaurant made it dirty look the worst experience. I come to this area because of Tesla chargers in the parking lot, but I will never eat here again
I can always count on hospitality and food at the spot. I've been away for about 4 years and have many memories. I'm glad I was able to squeeze with my brother on this visit! 12/22 Again in the city for a longer holiday visit, this time again a very early breakfast with my brother. The waitress reminded me of my last visit. Beautiful service and breakfast was very good!
