Amazing home cooked food and a good variety on the menu. They ways have specials on as well. They offer gluten free options (starters, mains and desserts! . The onion rings are out of this world and huge! The cheesecakes are devine! All meals are reasonably priced too. There is one particular member of staff (blond hair who serves us and she makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable! She is so kind and really looks after the customers. I visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday celebration, and there were ten of us in total. The server was exceptional and had a fantastic rapport with my brother-in-law. My starter and main course were delicious, complemented by a few pints of well-kept Timothy Taylor bitter. Everyone else's meals were equally impressive, and the portion sizes were just right. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. Kudos to all the staff for providing a wonderful dining experience at a great pub!

yesterday was our mamas funeral and we arranged that wake up on the spotted cow and I am so glad that we did. eating was fantastic, everyone was impressed by the quality and quantity and it was very cheap. each worker without exception worked out his socks and offered a great, polite service. many thanks. would highly recommend.

They often eat here with the family. our fave place! all fresh food, fantastic cook, nice friendly (and funny staff. also made a few themed evenings if the cook 'fast '. would recommend to everyone! even the occasional smile of the renter had! Called today just before they stopped serving food. We were made very welcome and had an excellent meal. Lovely, friendly staff, good quality food and fair prices. What more could you ask for ?

The pub is charming, and the parking prices are reasonable. It's enjoyable to sit outside, especially since they have several tool sheds repurposed as covered tables—what a fantastic idea!

15 people enjoy the spicy, eat and friends, oh and the strange gin. elaborate dinner, gluten-free catering without stress. good pub good, we'll be back.
