Arrived and was given a beeper to wait for a table, no problem went shopping downstairs while we waited. Eventually got a table, order was taken quickly but then the long wait started. We were with our 4 year old who was starving. We’d ordered a kids box for him sandwich, juice, fruit etc and because the food was taking so long we eventually asked if we could have his sandwich out first because he’s only wee and starving. We went to the Spotty Bag cafe but ended up leaving because of the incompetent and rude staff. We were seated by a waitress but after waiting 10 minutes, no one came to take our order. When I asked a staff member if we needed to order at the counter, they assured us they would come to our table. However, after waiting for another 20 minutes with no service, we decided to leave. Despite watching other families be seated and served after us, we were ignored. Shop is an Aladdin's cave and good for a rake around when in area. Only quibble was it was difficult to find a member of staff in the shoe section. Lady who I eventually found didn't seem too pleased at being taken away from the kitchenware section to help me get the shoes I was wanting to buy. Had lunch in the restaurant-girls serving were all so pleasant and cheerful. Despite being busy we were seated and quickly given our drinks while we waited for our food. The cakes looked lovely though we didn't sample them on this occasion. Food was nice. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.
The service at this restaurant was very slow, the staff lacked customer service skills, and seemed uninterested in being there. Our bill came to £25 for two toastie "meals", which we found to be ridiculous. The toasties came with a soggy salad and only about 5 crisps on the side. The coffee I ordered was also terrible. Overall, it was not worth the money. If you're looking for food while at the Spoty Bag shop, I recommend buying something from the food section downstairs instead.

This cafe may be small, but they definitely excel in everything they do. The Cullen Skink was good and the turkey cranberry panino was truly delightful, both served by a friendly and helpful waitress. The tea tasted just right. The view of the bay may be a bit gloomy today, but that's just the Scottish weather for you. The atmosphere was great with music playing at just the right volume. I would certainly recommend this place for a quick lunch.
The Bridgeview Restaurant is located upstairs from the famous Spotty Bag Shop. There is no problem with disabled access as there is a lift available. You are required to wait and be allocated a table. Service was quick and friendly. There is a good range of lunches, snacks, soup and sandwich combos, cakes, and hot drinks. Prices were reasonable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Recommended
Wouldn’t waste time coming here, cafe certainly not worth the time. Sat waited for fifteen minutes with no service after being seated and told someone would come serve us. Went and spoke to dark haired girl with glasses about the poor service after asking for the manager for her to then call us liars. Staff all looked clueless like they had no clue what they were doing.

This Restaurant is perfectly situated, just off the beach and provides a good, varied menu which represents, tremendous value for money.
Worst chicken fillets I have ever tasted had to wait a long time to expensive don't go there for food
