The Springfield And Grill

I haven't been to The Springfield for a while, due to covid and my busy work schedule. I decided to go for a couple of pints, so I rang a mate and arranged to meet him at the pub. I walked to the pub from the direction of the tube station, as I walked along I noticed the curtains were closed and it looked like the pub was closed so I headed to the pub down the road, my mate called to see were I was, so I said it looked like it was closed, he said he would meet me as Sarah was turning lights off and putting chairs on tables, it was around 10.15pm, I tried again in the week and was greeted with the same, curtains closed, chairs on tables and some lights off. I stopped by for a drink after work and noticed Sarah, the manager's assistant, sitting and drinking instead of working like the bar staff. It's disappointing to see her constantly doing this when she should be setting a good example. I feel sorry for the bar staff who have to work hard while she just sits and drinks.

Sarah must be royal because like the Queen, she seems to have a birthday every week... once again me and TBR63 popped in and low and behold Sarah is sloshed again. Sarah we love you... but you need to get help! im writing this today on a Friday at 3pm.. so heres to you... another Happy Birthday. have a Fosters on me.

A really lovely proper pub . The staff are helpful and friendly and are so nice to our son who is autistic. At the moment they are not doing food, although pre-covid we used to eat in there every week. I understand there are plans to offer meals again. Highly recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora

I was in the mood for a nice roast. I was disappointed. The roast beef was overcooked and tough to chew (well beyond well done). The Yorkshire puddings was flat and tasteless. Our waitresses was very kind but not prepared to answer any questions about the menu. Not great

The pub itself is fantastic, but the food leaves much to be desired. It is all frozen and the roast lamb resembled kebab meat. The dessert, a pudding, looked and tasted like a microwaved sponge. Overall, the dining experience was extremely disappointing.

The staff were so lovely. We went for my sisters dad's funeral. I highly recommend this place. Really kind staff so helpful. And will recommend this place. So if your in bounds green take a trip in there. You won't regret it.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming local pub. The new chef is fantastic, and the food is truly exceptional. Whether you're in the mood for a traditional Roast or flavorful Curry Goat, they have it all. Reserva una mesa ahora

I went with my kids and parents as they were in holidays and the food and service was beautiful! Defiantly coming back soon!!!
