The drinks took 15 minutes to arrive at our table even though the restaurant did not appear to be very busy. The coffee was lukewarm when it finally arrived. Our server brought our food to the wrong table, and another server brought a different table's drinks to us. The server said they would bring out finger bowls with our food, but they never did. We had to go into the bar to find someone to ask for the bill.

This is a wonderful spot to gather with friends for lunch before checking into Nidd Hall for a few days. The location is excellent, with a diverse menu, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, and welcoming service. The food and drinks were delicious, and I look forward to returning in the future.

I ordered the chicken Sunday roast and found the meal to be delicious overall, although the gluten-free Yorkshire pudding was overcooked. I would definitely return to this restaurant. They do not offer a specific gluten-free menu, but they provide a binder that lists all allergens for each dish.

Had a lovely experience. Called in for a drink whilst out on a country walk. Lovely surroundings and really friendly staff. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars was the cost of drinks, which is well above average local prices. I would still recommend a visit though. Reserva una mesa ahora

There are excellent gluten-free options available at this restaurant. Their gluten-free Yorkshire puddings make for a fantastic Sunday dinner. I have never encountered any issues during my visits here.
