The Stag - Reservar una mesa

I'll try to give as honest a review as possible, it's probably not the owners fault but the bar maid disliked our group who went there last night and contacted the owner, who was told bearfaced lies aboutus, subsequently the owner told her to ask us to leave, we were a big friendly group and willing to spend a lot of money, it was extremely disappointing, she had waited until we bought our first drinks to do it and didn't give us time to drink up, it's a nice pub spoilt by the actions of one individual

We love this place, live locally so may be biased but it's a lovely pub, very welcoming and inclusive, they have great beer lovely food, warm welcome and they're dog friendly. Says they're the heart of the community and that's true, our boy, 2 year old and lively spaniel, even knows the words, pub, pint, Stag and when walking anywhere near the place, pulls to go in, now in my book, that's the greatest seal of approval a pub can get, when the dog knows how to drum up trade.

Stopped a meeting there tonight . Staff not supporting the topic to be debated . Don't mention political .

Was not happy took my mum and family had to wait an hour half for food was about to walk out

food was cold and tasteless. the staff were unhelpful and the manager even worse
