Great beer, Great food, outside garden split in two.. One end with kids play area other just benches. Service is good and the guys and girls are always friendly even when it's 3 deep at the bar on a bank holiday. Sunday roast is really good and I don't normally say that as I make a cracking one myself apparently but I love the ones here. Since Covid, the car park is now outdoor seating. Even with the restrictions ended that's still there so should be awesome come summer with some nice pizza and beer Update 4/22: Covid clearly now released for UK and the pub has kept the outside area which is absolutely the right plan. Go regularly on dog walk but seems to be running into ground. Weeds everywhere, empties left on tables outside, smell of cooking appalling and off putting when you go to bar so bad you feel like you’re wearing it when you go outside … Sat at an outside table near toilets and smell was so bad we had to move. Such a shame, used to be great good location but feels neglected.
I spent more than £15 on a chicken roast and was extremely disappointed. It did not come with mashed potatoes, stuffing, or enough gravy. The portion of peas and one half of a carrot were measly. The roast potatoes tasted like they were leftovers from the day before. The waitress was not friendly like they used to be. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Good beer (Thornbridge ales), pleasant vibe, no muzak, good children's playground outside, decent outdoor seating. Haven't tried food so can't comment, but it looked OK and was reasonably priced.

The snack-style food at this restaurant is excellent. It's a perfect spot for meeting up with friends, and the drinks are delightful. I highly recommend it.
Lovely pub. The play area and sitting outside are a treat here, good bear selection and above average pub food, more reasons to visit
Food ok burnt pudding), we sat in the conservatory, looks tired and run down. Staff very good.
Visiting the area called in was very busy and nosiey food was OK small portions for the price
