The Star - Reservar una mesa

Often drop in to the Star for a couple of drinks with friends great place to catch up over a glass, really chilled, relaxed environment. Good selection of drinks, not eaten in here for a long while though but will do soon as the plates that passed me by yesterday on the way out of the kitchen looked tempting! What really makes this place is the friendly, attentive service from the bar staff, in particular the server with the cropped hair who recently came back from Amsterdam (I'm sorry I always forget to get your name! who us always really chatty and welcoming. Thanks again, I will continue to return

Really nice pub. Lovely food! I went with friends, but would be equally good for a family dinner. Lady behind the bar remembered our drinks order after only one round, so was literally same again? next time. Which doesn 't sound like a big deal, but for a first visit it impressed me greatly.

First time in the Star, driven past it 100 times but went in last month. Big outdoor area so always get a table. Staff always nice and friendly. Will visit again with the kids

Nice location near lots of food outlets, good prices and great selection of drinks. Nice outdoor space too if inside is a little too compact for you.

Great pub. I usually go here every Tuesday now for a meal and a few drinks. Very good prices also (3 shots for £5) (2 for 1 Pitchers)
