Stayed overnight , on a work trip. Excellent location and parking. Warm , informative welcome on arrival. Large room with sea view...if you squinted out the window! Had everything you needed , including one of my favourites ... huge bath towels! However the picky amongst us, would have liked more comfortable chairs than the ballroom ones, but there were two, always a bonus. Decor almost made it but a few tweeks would lift the room from basic to really good. Everything just about matched , not close enough but not awry enough to be arty! Brian, who was working at the front desk, was extremely helpful. My mother and I arrived at the restaurant from Edinburgh (we had traveled from Canada as I am studying abroad here for 2 years). Due to festivals and heavy traffic, we needed to change our plans as we needed to be closer to the university for my induction and matriculation. Brian was incredibly helpful in assisting us by contacting Expedia and helping us transfer our reservations to another location to accommodate our needs. He was very professional, helpful, and friendly. We are extremely grateful for his assistance. Thank you, Brian!!!
Stayed overnight and is never a 3 star hotel, the room window had condensation as it could not open and it was the hottest day in June so was boiling all night. The skirting boards and doors were filthy and there was a layer of dust on the chest of drawers. The shower was covered in mildew and there was clumps of hair on the inside of the shower. If I didn’t have a glass of wine when I arrived then I would have left and driven home. I did complain when I was checking out and didn’t even get an apology from the female who checked us out.
Just had a two night family break at the Station Hotel and could not fault it from start to finish. The family room was perfect for us. We had our 6 year old granddaughter who was fascinated by the trains passing by. The Breakfast was very nice plain simple and no fuss. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel

I visited this restaurant and was warmly welcomed. The staff was lovely and I was promptly served. I had the homemade steak pie followed by sticky toffee pudding, both of which were delicious and reasonably priced. I have never been disappointed at this hotel and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend it.
Arrived on the Friday afternoon,Danielle welcomed us and informed us of the times food was served till. Motorbikes were parked in the car park, and we had no worries leaving them there overnight. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was freshly cooked,hot, and very tasty. Thank you, Station Hotel.
We return frequently and frequently bring friends along. The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. The staff are efficient and friendly.
Excellent light lunch. Great choice. Extremely pleasant and welcoming staff, nothing was any bother. Will definitely be back the next time I am in Carnoustie

Another wonderful stay here,ticks every box,food again excellent backed up by staff team who cannot do enough to help.I love coming here for my holidays.
High tea is a proper dinner overflowing plate. Irn Bru to wash it down suits me! Mince n tatties, swede. All of the family were happy.
